22. After the Rain
Spring. 2016, black ink on vellum paper
This project was for memorizing the my experience in the No.III Girls’ High School, which was constructed on a historical site in Shanghai.
The original landscape in the background was captured in front of a garden in an afternoon right after the heavy rain.
With the flourishing history, all the architecture of my school has been here for over a century. The chief architect for the historical landscape was Ladislav Hudec, who had designed lots of famous architecture in the mid-twentieth century. The buildings illustrated in detail in this project was also one of Hudec’s masterpiece.
